Judy is an Egyptian‑born Nigerian multidisciplinary artist who received her BFA and MFA from the Academy of Art University, in San Francisco, California. She is also a graduate of the prestigious college Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in London, United Kingdom, where she obtained her postgraduate diploma degree in Fine Arts. As well as graduating from Cal State University East Bay with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts and enrolling in a foundation course at Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Judy uses a wide variety of mediums to express the diplomatic upbringing she experienced growing up. These materials are acrylic paint, wax pencils, colored pencils, inks, charcoal, whitewash, markers, carving, oil pastels, on wood panels. Judy is a multidisciplinary artist who combines her knowledge and skills to channel her ideas through mixed media palette and techniques, which are based off her conceptual idea of aerial perspective landscapes.
